
Scholarships support students by providing access to educational opportunities through scholarships and are established in the name of a donor, or in honour of someone else, to help individuals receive education or training they might not otherwise be able to access.
The DDCF has several scholarships that are presented to local students annually.

Terry Yates Memorial Scholarship Fund
There are 3 separate scholarships set up in his name for students enrolled in the D.R.C.S.S. Highschool:

To be presented to a student planning to enter at the secondary level in medicine, nursing or any other health related field.
Neil Peterson Countryfest Post-Secondary Scholarship in Music Education
To be presented to a student who is planning to pursue post-secondary music studies or has already entered the university music program.
The Marilyn Libby Memorial Music Scholarship To be presented to a student who is planning to pursue post-secondary music studies, has demonstrated a high level of musical proficiency in their field, and has used that talent within the school and community. This scholarship can also be presented to a student already enrolled in a university music program.
Marge Tycholis Memorial Scholarship To be awarded to a student entering a post-secondary institution; financial need is a determining factor.
AAA Kalichak Scholarship Fund To be presented to a deserving student of average scholastic ability and interested in a career in Law or Accounting.
The Kozak Scholarship To be presented to the best academic student entering the Education field at any post-secondary institution in Canada or U.S. The recipient must demonstrate good school citizenship, participation in extra-curricular activities; financial need is a determining factor.
DDCF General Scholarship To be presented to a student planning to continue their post-secondary education. Evidence of volunteer work within the community would be a required asset.
Gary Brandon Memorial Scholarship To be presented to a student who participates in any or all of the following sports: Curling, golfing, and/or baseball and is planning to pursue post-secondary education.
McMunn and Yates Bldg Construction Scholarship To be presented to a student enrolled in the building construction (carpentry) program at the Parkland Campus of A.C.C.
Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Scholarship To be presented to a motivated student planning to enroll at the post-secondary level in ANY health-related field, who has demonstrated strong community involvement, volunteerism and participated in extra-curricular activities.
Larry & Joyce Love Family Music Scholarship To be presented to a graduating student planning to pursue post-secondary music studies, who has demonstrated a high level of musical proficiency in their field, and who has used that talent within the school and community
And/or
Can be presented to a Grade X or XI student who excels in a music discipline and desires to attend the International Music Camp. Interested students should provide details about their achievements in the music discipline of their choice.
Wes & Andrew Bernat Family Music Scholarship To a graduating student who is planning to pursue post-secondary music studies, has demonstrated a high level of musical proficiency in their field, and has used that talent within the school and community.
Stanley Kustra Engineering Scholarship To a motivated individual with a commendable academic performance planning to enroll at any Canadian University in the field of Engineering. Priority will be given to students who demonstrate financial need.
Trotz Family Scholarship To a student with at least a B average, very involved in community volunteering and who will be attending a post-secondary school with the goal of entering the fields of teaching, working with special needs, or entering the health care field.
Margie Lysack Memorial Scholarships (2 available) To be presented to two motivated and positive individuals, each with a commendable academic performance, including math, planning to enroll at the post-secondary level in ANY health-related field who have demonstrated strong community involvement, volunteerism and participated in extra-curricular activities, especially: sports, music, student government.
Safe Grad Committee Scholarship To be awarded to a student who shows a cooperative attitude and contributes his/her time and energy to help make Safe Grad a successful event.
Class of 2020 Scholarship To be presented to a student who shows a cooperative attitude and contributes his/her time and energy to the betterment of their school or community.
Bellemare Family Scholarship To be presented to the child of a first generation immigrant to Canada who plans to attend a post secondary institution for a minimum one year program. Extra-curricular activities and community service may also be determining factors

Presented to a student who has demonstrated leadership growth and experience during their time at the DRCSS and plans to attend a post secondary institution for a minimum one year program. Service within the school and community will be determining factors.
Dauphin Ochre Band Parents Organization To be presented to a student who is in the band program, shows a cooperative attitude and contributes his/her time and energy to the betterment of their school or community.
Rick Smylski Memorial Scholarship To be presented to a student entering any field. Financial need is a determining factor.

- To be presented to a Grade X or XI student who excels in an artistic discipline and desires to attend the International Music Camp Summer School of Fine Arts, located south of Boissevain, Manitoba. Interested students should provide details about their artistic talents—this may be in the form of a portfolio (artwork/creative writing), or, written summary of level of student (music/dance) or previous experience (drama).
